NEW IN 2020 - VIRTUAL CULTURE CAMP CURRICULUM!:
In response to Covid-19 and the social distancing necessary to keep safe, we've developed a virtual Culture Camp curriculum exploring six world cultures (Tibet, Greece, Morocco, South Africa, Costa Rica and native North America) and two visits to the Culture of Peace. New Partner Organization and New Format for Culture Camp Summer Camp:
Summer 2016: the Culture Company has partnered with the Community Church of Vero Beach, a United Church of Christ church that collaborated with Crossover Mission to create a new format for the stand-alone version of Culture Camp. Called Peace Camp, the program met once a week for five weeks, and ran from 4:30 to 7:30, including dinner. The 75 campers explored 4 world cultures and the Culture of Peace and had a great time doing it.

Culture Company President Joins Broward Children's Services Council Trainer Cadre:
Spring 2016: Judith Keiser became one of the select few trainers approved by the Broward County Children's Services Coucil to present workshops to Broward County providers of child -centered services. The two workshops Judy will be presenting are "Teaching Nonviolent Communication to Children" and "Walking the Peace Path." First Children's Museum Partner:
Winter 2014-15: Culture Crates traveled to upstate New York! We received a great testimonial from Jillian Shaver, Executive Director of the Children's Museum of Oswego in Oswego, NY about our Culture Crates: "All of the items were a wonderful addition to our program. Children greatly enjoyed seeing real world artifacts from around the world. They had many questions and were very curious, exactly what we had hoped for!"

New Culture Camp Itinerary: World Cruise! :
Summer 2015: Culture Campers can now set sail on a cruise around the globe! Stops include world cultures reachable by the "FriendShip" - it even makes a stop in Antarctica to explore the global cooperation that keeps this precious natural resource intact.

Two new world cultures added to Culture Camp:
Summer 2015: Two new destinations were added to Culture Camp. Chinese culture is now available for Culture Campers to explore - and so is the global cooperative governance of the continent of Antarctica!

Culture Camp/Summer Sundays Religious Education Curriculum:
Our World Tour II itinerary now gives you 7 new cultures to visit on Sundays during the summer. In 8 or 12 weeks, explore peace lessons from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Iraq, Japan, Romania, South Africa and Tibet!

Culture Camp Curriculum:
Our customized package for full-summer programs is used to teach cultural arts, social studies, and now social skills! Explore world cultures and peacemaking skills in 1-hour sessions perfect for elementary-age kids.

Culture Camp:
The addition of Peru brings to 15 our list of world cultures available to explore! Now you can offer a 3-week camp! Also new this summer: Culture Camp Pro, for experienced camp counselors who need only the basic materials to create a great camp. Ask for details!

Cultural Tour of World Religions:
Our popular full-year RE program has been "summerized"! In 12 sessions, kids in K-4th grade can now experience 10 world religions through stories, rituals, and activities while learning about peace heroes in each religion.

Now Available - Culture Camp After School Program:
Culture Camp goes year-round! Children can now explore world cultures with Culture Camp after school as well as during summers! Ask how you can integrate CC into your ASP!

New in 2011 - Searching for Our Sources:
This 12-session summer RE program explores the six sources of Unitarian Universalism. Check our FAQ pade for more information.

Multigenerational Peace Play debuts:
Combine our Culture Camp/Summer Sundays series with "Traveling Toward Peace", our new Peace Play, for an interactive and transformative group experience! Great to build community among generations - covers 12 sessions plus rehearsals and performance.

"Only One Lemon" Drama Workshop:
New in 2009: a one-hour interactive drama workshop that explores three world cultures and the peacemaking arts of communication, cooperation and connection. Great for groups of up to 20 elementary-age children.

Peace Thru Play program comes to life:
Combining classroom sessions with our interactive drama workshop "Only One Lemon", our Peace Thru Play program connects cultural wisdom to peacemaking skills in a unique and fun way!
