WORLD TOUR I: Eight Days or Weeks, Eight Cultures

A sampling of world cultures.

All you have to do is bring your sense of adventure, and an empty suitcase: we will even supply the passport!

This exciting World Tour I begins with an initial introduction to the concept of culture and preparation for our trip.

Then we travel to the Outback to visit with the Aborigines in AUSTRALIA …

…tour the spice-laden world of INDIA ...

…venture into the ancient civilization of GREECE ..

…slip into the middle-eastern world of fezes and djellabas in MOROCCO ...

…listen to ancient stories and dance the day away to Akan drums heard in GHANA ...

…celebrate Carneval in BRAZIL and then cruise deep into the Amazon Basin deep in the rain forest...

…then upon our return to North America , we experience NATIVE NORTH AMERICAN rituals and stories…

Along the way you will experience world religions, rituals and ceremonies…tasty local treats…games and activities from around the globe…and unifying themes celebrating what it means to be part of the human family.

We will fill your suitcase with:

• a passport
• a daily or weekly peacemaking theme as taught in the culture of the week
• history and useful information about the cultures and countries
• native costumes to try on
• books, maps, brochures, handouts of vocabulary words and song lyrics, recipes and dance steps
• artifacts and objects: games, food, music CD's and musical instruments, and objets d'art representing the cultures

We've left some room for your special items in the suitcase, but we guarantee we've packed everything you'll need for this exciting world tour. We even included a 24-hour help line for travel emergencies.
